Leaving A Gift in Your Will
Aston University's Legacy Programme helps you to leave a gift to the University in your will. For many alumni this is an attractive opportunity. By reflecting on what means most to you now and in the future, you can make plans to leave a lasting impact on the people and causes closest to you.
|
Your gift can encourage new thinking and shape ideas to answer some of today’s most pressing questions |
Your gift can transform the lives of current students who might otherwise be unable to achieve their true potential

will live on |
Leaving a gift in your will to Aston University will make a significant difference to the University and its future generations of students and researchers.
Leaving A Gift in Your WIll is Simple
|

|
Making a will is one of the most important considerations of your lifetime. By planning ahead you can make sure your wishes are fulfilled.
After providing for family and friends, leaving an unrestricted gift in your will is one of the most valuable ways you can support Aston. An unrestricted gift will give the University a degree of flexibility to meet its strategic objectives by using your gift where the need is greatest.
You may, however, want to shape your gift to fit with your own particular interests in research or student life.
In order that your wishes can be fully carried out, we would like to invite you to contact us in confidence to discuss your plans further.
We can be reached on legacy@aston.ac.uk
If you already have a will and want to make changes to include Aston University, you can easily do this by completing a codicil and storing the new instructions with your will. |
Next Steps
 |
We can supply you with examples of wording to make your intentions known, but, in all cases, we recommend that you consult a solicitor or professional advisor in drafting or amending your will.
The details of your will are a private matter but, if you would like more information on the Aston Legacy Programme, or if you would like to share your intentions with us in confidence, please contact legacy@aston.ac.uk |
